Give your TiVo a Facelift

I'm not sure why I would want to interchange the faceplate of my TIVO and move them around to the other TIVOs. Hmmm..this is a high degree of too much time on someone's hands. Now - let's say they found a way to increase the capacity of the TIVo by replacing JUST THE FACEPLATE of a 40 hour TIVO with a 80 hour TIVO. Now that would be worth writing about.

This is an odd development but may be useful for some folks. The guys behind Weaknees figured out that you can interchange the front faceplates of TiVo boxes between almost any series 2 TiVo or DirecTiVo.
