Pioneer Introduces the DVR-DT100 - The First 800GB DVR

If you need industrial strength storage for your TV shows and movies, the DVR-DT100 from Pioneer might be for you. According to Akihabara News, the DVR-DT100 has these sweet specs:

  • 800GB Hard Drive
  • 2 TV Tuners (1 Analog and 1 Digital)
  • Supports DVD-DL and RAM
  • Has an HDMI connector
  • Also available as DT90 with a 500GB HDD or DT50 with a 250GB HDD.

The only major issue with the DT90 is this statement:

But you will not be able to record videos in HD though.

Well, that's a bummer. No details on release dates or prices. We'll keep you posted.
