Mick Jagger Being Pursued for ABC Sitcom
I know April is almost over but this sure seems like an April Fools joke. Mick Jagger is being pursued for a pilot of a new show that according to TheCelebrityCafe.com:

Jagger, whose distinctive mouth and swagger made him famous as the Rolling Stones frontman, would play the target of a plot by a group of friends (headed by comedian Donal Logue, from "Grounded for Life") to rob a celebrity.
The Touchstone Television project was originally set to star Jeff Goldblum in what would be Jagger's role, and be called "I Want To Rob Jeff Goldblum." But with Goldblum shepherding his own comedy pilot throuhg development over at NBC, he wasn't interested in the supporting role.
And to make it a little more lame:
Don't expect Jagger to be a weekly star, though; as befits his touring schedule, the rocker would only appear in a few scenes as the plot to rob him developed.
Maybe Jeff Goldblum could fill in for Mick when he's on tour? I'm not against Jagger and his acting skills. In fact, even though he had limited lines, I think he was great in Freejack. The problem is that the whole concept of the show sounds pretty stupid.
Wow! Hollywood sure is getting lame.
