Need a Little Help with all of Those Freakin' Wires?

This is a repeat of a post we've featured a few times before, but at this time of the year it's vital to get your new home theater system hooked up without tearing your hair out. Enjoy!

Do you think you're getting a new home theater sytem, TV, DVD player, or some type of home entertainment component for Christmas? If you're like me, these things can get a little confusing when it comes down to what wire to plug into where. One of our favorite resources for setting up devices is the Audioholics Setup Center over at Audioholics.com. They have sections like Home Theater AV Hardware that's broken down into these handy categories:

  • Connecting a CableTV or Satellite System
  • Tips for Building a Home Theater in an Apartment
  • Ground Loops - Eliminating System Hum and Buzz
  • Basic Audio & Video Set-Up Guide
  • Receiver Setup and Connections
  • DVD Player Setup
  • Setting Up Your Home Theater System - Basics
  • DVD Audio Setup Tip #1

So take a peek at the Audioholics Setup Center and be sure to bookmark it because in a couple of weeks we know you'll need it.
