Westinghouse VK-40F580D With Front-Featured Slide-Out DVD Player

westinghousehdtvdvd1.jpgWestinghouse has launched its first HDTV with a built-in DVD player. The Westinghouse 40-inch VK-40F580D is a full 1080p LCD panel with ATSC/NTSC/ClearQAM tuners, 1800:1 native contrast, an 8 ms response time, 3D noise reduction, an adaptive comb filter, and a pair of front-firing 10 Watt speakers. Rather than placing the slide-out DVD slot on the side of the set, Westinghouse has built it into the front of the set and its SpineDesign places connection ports on the side as an added convenience. Shipping now, the Westinghouse VK-40F580D will require you to remove only $1049 from your bank account.
