Sharp Aquos BD-HDv22: Blu-ray, DVD, And VHS In A Box
In one of the strangest combinations of home theater technologies, Sharp has thrown Blu-ray, DVD, and VHS playback and recording into one device. The Sharp Aquos BD-HDv22 allows you to record television programs to a 250 GB hard drive and supports BD-R/RE, DVD-R/RW and DVD-R DL. But the most interesting feature of the BD-HDv22 is it allows you to record any dog-eared VHS tapes you have packed away in your closet to Blu-ray disc. We're not sure what the market for one of these would look like, but we're guessing small once you factor in the monstrous $1100 price tag. Still sound interesting? It's scheduled to hit shelves October 20.
