CyberLink's PowerDVD Gets Certified For H.264 Playback

51wIQcqz1jL._SS500_(2).jpgThe Blu-ray Disc Testing Center has certified CyberLink's PowerDVD for H.264 playback support on recordable BD-R 1.1 and re-recordable BD-RE 2.1 Blu-ray discs.

"CyberLink predominately continues to deliver state-of-the-art solutions that are fully compliant with the latest Blu-ray Disc technologies," said Alice H. Chang. "With PowerDVD now certified for BD-RE 2.1 and BD-R 1.1 formats, users are able to enjoy their recorded videos including HDTV programs on the PC with assured playback performance."

This is just the latest expansion into Blu-ray certification for CyberLink's PowerDVD. They're already certified for Profile 1.0, Profile 1.1 with Bonus View, BD-Live, BD+, BD-RE 3.0, AVCHD, and AVCREC.
