Sanyo's Budget-Friendly PLV-Z60 LCD Projector Shipping In The US

Sanyo's PLV-Z60 home theater projector is now shipping, the first of three new Sanyo projectors we'll see by the end of the year. The 720p LCD PLV-Z60, aimed at the 'budget' crowd, has decent specs for the $1195 you'll pay for it. Featuring 12-bit digital video processing, 10000:1 contrast ratio, 1200 ANSI lumens of brightness, and a 3D color management system, you'll be hard pressed to find higher quality for a cheaper price.

Next month Sanyo will ship its PLV-Z700, a higher-end 1080p projector priced at $1995 followed by the 120 Hz PLZ-Z3000 in December, a pricey $3295.
