Mitsubishi Launches FL6900U LCD Projector

FL7000U.jpgMitsubishi's FL6900U, the company's latest commercial LCD projector, boasts 1080p resolution, 4000 lumens of brightness and three 1.1-inch LCD panels. The combo is perfect for environments with a lot of ambient light and is further complemented by side-by-side imaging, RS232 support for compatibility with third-party control systems, RJ45 networking support, automatic horizontal and vertical lens shift, automatic zoom and focus, and digital keystone correction.

Of course with commercial operation the possibility of a sticky-fingered thief nabbing the projector increases, so Mitsubishi has included a built-in motion-sensitive anti-theft alarm set with a key so when the projector moves it blasts a 120 decibel alarm. Definitely enough noise to deter even the most persistent thieves, but just in case it also has a menu lock and a splash screen that shows ownership and location.

The Mitsubishi FL6900U will set you back $9995 with one-year limited warranty on the lamp and three-year limited warranty for parts and labor.
