Sharp's AQUOS LC-46D85U Gets The Critical Eye Of Review
Released just last month, Sharps AQUOS LC-46D85U has already passed under the ever-critical eye of CNET's David Katzmaier, and while it received 3/5 stars, the two stars it didn't receive were a result of picture quality issues. Oh no! Turns out some backlight issues cause banding, black levels are on the light side, and it lacks dejudder video processing. But on the upside, color reproduction is good after calibration, it has numerous picture controls, five HDMI inputs, it's energy efficient, and it looks damn good. It also boasts a dejudder-free 120Hz refresh rate, so while it may not create cinematic brilliance, it could be exactly what you're looking for this hockey season!
