Toshiba's Regza ZV Upscaling LCD TV's Coming November 29 To UK

Toshiba's ZV series, consisting of the 'world's first upscaling TV's' are set to launch in the UK November 29. Using Revolution+ technology, a cell processor algorithm, the ZV series can upscale standard-definition content to near high-def. Set for release in 42- and 46-inch models, Toshiba's Regza ZV's will feature 1080p resolution with support for 24 frames per second, Active Vision M100 HD 100Hz image processing with 5:5 pulldown sequencing, 10 bit color processing, 30, 000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, an integrated digital tuner, and NICAM Stereo/SRS WOW audio support. The glossy-black, swivel-supported Regza's will retail for £899.99 and £1199.99 for the smaller and larger models respectively.
