Hitachi Unveils Wildly Bright 7500 Lumen, 3LCD Pro Projector
Hitachi looks to be making an attempt to grab some high-end projector market share with their unveiling of the CP-X10000. With 7500 lumens of brightness, the 3LCD CP-X10000 sits in the professional projector range, and also features a 2500:1 contrast ratio, 10-bit digital video processor, ultra wide lens shift, and a handy 10000 hour filter. Its adjustable lens attachment allows for a variety of lenses and throw distances so it should work equally well in a giant theater or smaller conference room. And for a few extra points, Hitachi threw in closed captioning and an RS-232 network bridge. Unfortunately for interested parties, I can't find any pricing or availability information at this time.
