Victor JVC Showcasing The World's Lightest 32-Inch LCD TV At CES 2009

victor_lcd-560x420(2).jpgVictor JVC will be showing off a prototype of the world's lightest 32-inch LCD TV at CES 2009. Weighing in at only 5 kg the LCD display is not only the world's lightest but Victor's thinnest measuring 7 mm in width. According to a press release (PDF), Victor says the set uses 50% less material resources and 10% fewer LCD modules than other comparable Victor LCD TV's. There are no specs available at the moment, nor is there a model name or number. The set is expected to hit Japanese shelves sometime in 2009.
