Mitsubishi converter kit turns DLP TV 3D

mitshub-3d-converter.jpgMitsubishi has announced the 3DC-1000 3D HDTV Starter Pack, a converter kit that will allow the company's 3D-compatible DLP TVs to actually display HD content. The user just plugs a transmitter into the TVs VESA sync port and switches the TV to 3D mode to activate. The kit comes with the 3D signal adapter, two pairs of active shutter glasses, a 3D emitter for the glasses, an HDMI cable and a copy of Disney's Blu-ray showcase disc. The kit, for which a shipping date has not been announced, is also reported to work with Samsung's 2008 and 2009 3D-compatible HDTV models.
